TERMS & CONDITIONS

Introduction: Pyromaniac Chef Ltd is a boutique events company providing unique and immersive culinary experiences. We curate and host a variety of events that champion local ingredients and smoky flavours; including private dining experiences, restaurant pop-ups and our Pygmy Goat Picnics. By participating in our events, you acknowledge that you are engaging in activities that may involve the use of open flames and livestock, and you agree to adhere to the guidelines and policies set forth in these terms and conditions.

Definitions:

• Purchaser is you the customer

• Seller is Kathryn Minchew, Pyromaniac Chef

• Guests are the individuals engaging in an event

• Booking is the event booked

​

Booking and Payment: We charge a minimum of a 50% deposit on all events.

• We reserve the right to alter prices without notice.

• We reserve the right to withdraw any discount given if payment is not received by the agreed date.

• If the Purchaser fails to make payment of any money on whatever account, The Seller may withhold delivery of all or any part of any goods sold to the buyer until payment in full of all money due.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: The Seller is obliged to follow rules set out by organisations including but not limited to the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA). Where the movement of or interaction with livestock is restricted, the Purchaser will be given credit (not a refund) for an event once restrictions are lifted. Please note that goat walking will be cancelled in the event of rain (or forecast rain) but the event itself will still go ahead.

Event Changes: Once a date is booked, the Seller is under no obligation to reschedule under any circumstances.

 

​Liability Limitation: Pyromaniac Chef Ltd is fully insured including public liability insurance but the Purchaser and any Guests involved with their Booking agree to dress and behave appropriately. Pyromaniac Chef Ltd is not responsible for any injuries or losses that occur during a Booking which are due to the inappropriate behaviour of Guests.

 

​Code of Conduct: Guests are expected to behave appropriately.

• Dress appropriately for the location and all likely weather. Paths may be muddy and goats sometimes nibble at clothing.

• Understand that while trained, goats are animals and must be treated kindly and according to instructions provided at the Booking.

Photography and Videography: Events may be recorded or photographed and used in marketing materials. Please notify the seller at time of booking if you do not wish to be captured in this way.

​

Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure to meet our obligations occasioned by circumstances beyond our control.

 

​Governing Law: Specify the jurisdiction and governing law that will apply to the terms and conditions.

• Pyromaniac Chef Ltd, Pygmy Goat Picnics and Goatfluencer are all trademarked terms.

• Pyromaniac Chef Ltd carries a 5/5 food inspection from Cotswold District Council for the kitchen at Westonbirt Cottage for the preparation of food to be served offsite.

Amendments: Pyromaniac Chef Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. When an amendment falls between a Booking being made and the Booking taking place, the Purchaser will be emailed a copy of updated terms and conditions.
