Gloucester Studio
Located in a Kota Hut in the garden of Kathryn’s home, Gloucester Studio was open from January 2015 to December 2021. Seated around a crackling fire, guests snuggled into reindeer skins on wooden benches, dined from wooden plates and handmade cups as they immersed themselves in the rustic retreat. A year after it opened in 2015, Michel Roux Jr visited to film Hidden Restaurants with Michel Roux Jr. “It’s extraordinary to see this in a shed in a suburban back garden” he said to The Daily Mail. “Kathryn cooks meat in front of you on a fire pit. The hut is found by walking through the back gate and following twinkling fairy lights down the garden. Inside the fire roars and guests can take a seat on reindeer hide covered benches around the edge.
